Scuba Diving in Newfoundland

Updated: Dec 5, 2023

Looking for a unique scuba diving experience during your visit to Newfoundland? Interested in wreck diving or snorkeling with Humpback Whales and Dolphins? If so, you’re in for a special treat.

We have several WWII shipwrecks that were sunk by German U-Boats during the last world war. These shipwrecks are ready for you to explore. Complete with fully intact original artifacts, you’ll feel like Jacques Cousteau on an exploratory mission. The main shipwrecks are preserved in waters next to Bell Island, and are serviced by Dan’s Dive Shop and Ocean Quest. If that wasn’t special enough, tours of this area also offer snorkeling with Humpback Whales and dolphins, the only trip of it’s kind in North America. So if you’re a certified SCUBA diver, consider taking in this unique Newfoundland SCUBA diving experience.
